We’ve had this hunting line for 15 years and this show line for about 10 years. This blend of very different types of Golden Retriever pedigrees lowers the DNA COI. This produces a dog with potentially better health and temperament due to the diversity of genes. Both our separate lines have been incredibly healthy and long lived. Together, the offspring has the potential to be even better. We have blended European Show with American Hunting lines for the past 2 decades with great success.
American Hunting
Fall 2024 we plan to breed River to Rowdy. Rowdy is a highly titled Golden in Hunting, Agility & Obedience.
River is out of Piper x Rory. River is all American Hunting genetics. She has her HRC Seasoned Hunter title and one leg away from her Finished HRCH title. We are taking deposits for this litter for hunting, working & sport buyers, no casual pet homes.

Katal is 1/2 hunting (Lux) and 1/2 European (Blizzard). If we pair with a hunting stud we can get some nice dogs. If you are looking for a Golden to hunt or do a dog sport with, fill out a puppy application and state that is your interest. We won’t do a breeding unless we have plenty of depositors ready. ** We do not sell nor suggest this Hunting line for casual pets. These dogs need to keep their mind occupied. **

About our Golden Retriever Puppies
Red-Dawn is an AKC Breeder Of Merit Kennel, since 2003. Coming up! We have a spring litter in the works. We again bred Snowflake and Brady for a 2020 Spring litter. Their 2019 litter was a big hit and the litter turned out fantastic. Many puppies are in training to be a Service Dogs. The puppies parents, Brady & Snowflake are AKC registered English Cream Golden Retrievers. Both parents are conformation champions. Brady also won BEST IN SHOW and Snowflake won RESERVE BEST IN SHOW. We take great pride that all our dogs are OFA certified for Hips, Elbows, Patella, Heart and Eyes. All Red-Dawn parent dogs are fully DNA tested as well.

We are near Dallas TX, located about one hour north of town. Red-Dawn is a private home on 15 acres near Denton, Texas. It is a about a 4 hour drive from Austin, Texas. And a 5 hour drive from Houston, Texas.
How to Reserve a Golden Retriever Puppy
Our Golden Retriever puppies are for sale for $3500 and sold on AKC limited registration. In addition we do not require you to neuter your dog due to the health risks with altering a Golden before sexual maturity. To hold a reservation on puppy, you can place a $500 deposit here on our web site. As a result, puppies are chosen by the seniority of the deposits received.

How we raise our Golden Retriever Puppies
Our Golden Retriever puppies are raised in the house. We dog door train, begin crate training plus our puppies use a litter box to potty. As a result, our puppies are incredibly easy for you to potty train.
We feed our dogs and puppies a raw fresh food diet. Red-Dawn Golden Retrievers has bred, trained and shown since 1986 near Dallas Texas. As a matter of fact, we have produced many dogs over the years who are service dogs, show dogs, therapy dogs and fantastic pets.
