Finnigan’s OFA / Pedigree

River & Finnigan’s Golden Retriever puppies come from proven hunting lines with generations of natural ability in the field. While they have the drive and instinct to work, they are also calm, level-headed dogs that are wonderful to live with. They aren’t overly energetic or frantic. Instead, they form strong bonds with their families, love being by your side, and are always eager to please. We refuse to live with hyped up go-go dogs. These Goldens are traditional in type and character.

Our line of Goldens mature quickly, both mentally and physically, making them easy to train and enjoyable companions from a young age. They are exceptionally intelligent and very eager to please. Their coats have very little undercoat, which means less shedding than many traditional Golden Retrievers. As they mature, their coats develop into a rich, dark golden-red color. The color of their ears as puppies is a good indication of the beautiful shade they will have as adults.

Our hunting-bred Golden Retrievers have gone on to become excellent duck dogs, agility partners, service dogs, and active family companions. They are bred to work in demanding conditions and handle the Texas heat with ease, maintaining their energy and enthusiasm even during the hottest months.

Finnigan qualified for the AKC Nationals Obedience Championship. He is a very versatile dog who excels in multiple dog sports. He lives in Minnesota and is not owned by us.
