About this breeding

  • Embark’s Pair Predictor tool puts this litter at DNA 18% COI
  • A 35% COI European line dog can pair with a 35% COI American line dog and the offspring’s COI can drop to 10-20%
  • Full American show and full European show dogs COI are each commonly 25-45%
  • American Hunting dogs are commonly 10-25% COI
  • Learn more about Golden Retriever’s inbreeding from trusted DNA coding vs pedigree false belief. DNA COI vs Pedigree COI
  • Embark DNA shows the genetic inbreeding COI of all dogs they test. Breeders can run a Pair Predictor and see actual forecast of puppy COI. This tool is revolutionary for breeders. See what we learned from Embark DNA about our own dog’s inbreeding.

Our show-bred Golden Retrievers are the ultimate combination of silly charm and steady reliability. Always a bit goofy and full of jokes, they keep their puppy-like spirit well into adulthood, making them endlessly entertaining companions. They love to fetch and are eager to please, while also being incredibly stable and trustworthy—even around little critters. With their chunky build, adorable expressions, and an extreme amount of long, thick hair that sheds generously, they bring both laughter and love into any home. They are not nearly as bright as our hunting line Goldens, but they make up for it with their goofy happy chunky charm. This line makes a great pet, plus good for therapy, service (for some situations) and obedience competition. They are quick to overheat, so these dogs are not good dogs for high paced sports or more than 10 minutes outside in the Texas summers.
