Embark DNA has a Pair Predictor service in their online database. Any 2 dogs of any variety can be matched to find the potential offspring’s inbreeding estimate, coat traits and diseases the pups can inherit. All that is needed is for one person’s account to be listed as each dog’s co-owner.
In this article Embark DNA was used to document the inbreed of pure-bred Golden Retrievers and 75% Golden Retrievers. Golden Retrievers from multiple lines and continents were used. The same dogs were used in each matching. Six dogs were matched each time, by sex, to either a Full Golden Retriever and a 50% Golden Retriever.
In this following data these are the Golden Retrievers used.
6 Male Golden Retrievers are: Jeffery, Brady, Charlton, Rio, Gryffin, Luke.
6 Female Golden Retrievers are: Juliet, Xandra, Bird, Angel, Lux.

In addition, two dogs who are 50% Golden Retriever were also paired with these same Golden Retrievers. Turbo (Male) and Echo (Female) are both half Golden Retriever. Turbo also has Border Collie and English Shepherd in his genetics. Echo also has Australian Shepherd, Miniature Australian Shepherd and Border Collie in her genetics.

Jeffery a Golden Retriever is match with 6 female Golden Retrievers to find the inbreeding of potential puppies if these dogs were bred in the future. Pair Predictor on Embark allows dog breeders to see prior to breeding a litter if two dogs are a good match or not.
